Little Owl carrying basket of pink and red hearts

Hello Little Owl

This children’s book was written for my first grandchild. Not knowing the gender, we called the unborn baby, our Little Owl. Our last name translates to little owl in German.

My book welcomes Little Owl into her new world, explaining to her the many things she will learn as she grows up. It is meant to instill in her, self-confidence, love for friends and family, strength to fend for her self, and wisdom to make the right decisions for a happy future.  It’s important that she knows her family and friends are there for her if she ever loses her way!

Hello Little Owl can be enjoyed by both young and old alike, but is directed to an audience from 18 months[parent reading] to 8 years old. My illustrations are whimsical and detailed and invite the reader to look for surprises.

It is the first book in a series following the adventures of Little Owl and her friends. Hopefully, my readers will learn important life lessons while enjoying fun stories and pictures.
